When Something isn't Working
„Down Time" is an experimental shortfilm that merges clinical experience with underwater surrealism. What happens when you move between states, and what is waiting at the bottom?
When Michael Lausberg called for actors in an underwater movie "involving a surgery", you can imagine that my sense for the absurd and bizarre was immediately tickled. The result turned out even better than I could have imagined.
Filmed between August and November of 2025, Down Time premiered January 31, 2026, at Filmrauschpalast Berlin.
