About me.

Hey, I’m Sybille. Berlin-based, but happiest somewhere wet or windy. My journey into photography has been fueled by a relentless curiosity and a deep love for exploring the unknown. I’ve carried cameras since I was a kid; first an old SLR, now anything I can get my hands on. I collect lenses from flea markets, lose myself underwater, and send drones into the sky. (I’m also a certified lifeguard, rescue diver and freediver, so sinking is basically my second job.)

For me, the underwater world is the closest you can get to experiencing the vastness of space while still on earth. This otherworldly silence is my happy place, a sanctuary where I find peace and inspiration. It’s also where I love to step in front of the camera myself, because when the gear disappears, posing underwater feels just like dancing like nobody’s watching.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope my photographs help you see the world through a different lens and maybe even inspire you to embark on new adventures.
